World Records Galore – And Not Even Out Yet!
The awards are coming fast and furious for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds… Just yesterday it received the ‘grand prize’ in the Korean Game Awards! A mere day before that, the world’s hottest Early Access title was announced as a nominee in the 2017 Game of the Year contest. And today, creator Brendan ‘PlayerUnknown’ Greene showed up at the 35th Golden Joystick Awards to take home another stack of trophies… PUBG is the new holder of seven Guinness World Records! Those range from “Fastest time to sell 1 million units for a Steam Early Access game” to “First videogame to reach 2 million concurrent players on Steam,” and the full collection demonstrates the scale of the game’s success!
